LASER PIGMENTATION REMOVAL
Erase unwanted pigmentation with our fast and effective laser technology.
Pigmentation of the skin is a very common issue, particularly on areas of the skin exposed to the sun. Excess pigment can create a more aged appearance, even more so than wrinkles and fine lines. Dark patches of pigmentation can be very difficult to cover with make-up alone, so removing or significantly fading these patches can be a fantastic confidence booster.
At Laserways, we offer fast, professional and affordable pigment removal treatment in Newcastle and Durham. Our state-of-the-art technology can safely and effectively reduce the appearance of freckles, sun and age spots, birthmarks, and larger patches of discoloured skin in just a few sessions. By reducing the appearance of pigmentation, our fully qualified team of laser technicians can enhance your skin’s natural tone while reversing any signs of sun damage or ageing.
Why choose us?
At Laserways, we use some of the most advanced laser technology available to remove pigmentation. With our team of highly qualified medical practitioners, you can be assured you’ll be provided with the highest quality service at affordable prices.
How does laser pigmentation removal work?
Medical lasers are a very effective treatment option in removing unwanted pigmentation. During the treatment, the pigmentation is broken up by the laser energy, bringing it to the surface of the skin. Once risen to the surface, the pigmentation will begin to dry up and flake off, leaving you with beautiful even-toned skin.
Is the treatment painful?
During the treatment, you’ll feel a short burst of heat as the light targets the pigmented areas. Many of our clients compare this sensation to a light flicking of an elastic band. No anaesthetic is required, but a topical anaesthetic can be used if preferred.
How many sessions will I need?
While many of our clients are happy with their results from just a single session, we recommend around 3 sessions for maximum results. You may need additional sessions depending on the level of pigmentation.
